also some facts about my surgery .. they had an extremly hard time getting into my belly button.. im 16 it was done at the childern hospital .. when the removed the appendix it was not due to appenditous .. when they removed the appendix it was cause of pain that they didnt no what the casue of was (did anyone eles have that) .. thanks
also when they took it out there was something hard stuck to it almost like keeping it in one place .. there not sure what it was but they sent it to get tested …

i have been drinking fluids like crazy .. im so thirsty ..

*****the docter also said that cause they had trouble getting into my belly button it will take longer for me to heal plus casue it was chronic pain (like 14 months) that may extend the healing time to .. im not even sure if this was the sorce of my pain ..

First - the scar (which is different from a regular appendix removal scar due to it being 6 inches long and running vertically down my natural stomach muscle line … basically an open surgery, not the usual 2 inch one beside your hip) is very painful - not infected, just the surrounding muscles make it hard to walk, sit, cough, sneeze laugh etc… is this normal? how long did it take to get a bit more ‘normal?’ Did you have any problems with the scar during the remainder of your pregnancy?

How about back pain? Because of risk to baby i was kept awake during op, and they used an epidural instead of knock out drugs, but now my back really hurts! Is this a result of the epidural, or them raking round trying to find the little infected ******?

Also how did you feel after your op? I know a stupid question - but ever since the operation i have been super weepy - maybe because it was an emergency operation, and all of a sudden i was being told maybe i and / or baby could die, and high risk of pre term labour etc etc.

Now i cant relax - i get the normal round ligament pains preggo women get and i panic, im freaking out at every single stretch and ache, and im always walking on eggshells…. im just so scared something will go wrong again…

is this normal? how did you get over this?

My surgeon said that it would be a couple months before I would feel totally 100% but that after 3 weeks or so I could go back to all my normal activities.

I’m trying to loose weight and get into shape for the military so I want to get back to my regular workout plans but I don’t want to pull or tear anything (stitches, or skin glue) so how long did you if you had your’s removed wait to start working out again? Or how long do you think I should weight before I start running again and lifting heavy weights?

How long does it take to get the results of a blood test, then send them onto another surgery - I would assume that is only a week at the most to send them on.
Basically, the private clinic that is waiting on being sent the results still havent recieved them 2 weeks after I had the blood test at an NHS doctors surgery..
Is this taking the normal amount of time or should I hurry them along?
