I am a female having a small benign lump removed early on a Tues morning. The surgery is outpatient and should only take about an hour. I will be put under twilight anesthesia. Will I be able to consume alcohol that Fri night? I have a friends’ birthday gathering to attend and would like to know if I may have a glass or two of wine/sangria? I have never had any type of surgery before and am not sure. Thanks.

I am going to be having gallbladder surgery here in the next few days, and I want to know peoples experiences with having their gallbladders removed. I am in my early 20’s and I will (hopefully) be having laproscopic surgery. I’m going for my consultation with a surgeon tomorrow, but I would like to hear your views before then. I just mainly want to know how long recovery took, what you could eat, and what the lifting limits are. I have a 7 month old daughter and I want to be able to hold her!

Is there a foreign country other than the US that has cheap plastic surgery, but is safe. Interested in rhinoplasty and chin implant.

I had a ruptured appendix when I was five years old, and that caused a series of simultaneous infections throughout my body. Because my body was already riddled with nasty, life-threatening infections, my doctors opted to pack my surgery wound and allow it to graph back naturally, rather than stitch it. This caused an indented, almost caved-in looking scar on my lower abdomen where the incision was made. Recently, I’ve been encountering these red, sometimes itchy, other time painful rashes, and if I may be so disgusting, at times there is some sticky discharge in the area around that indented scar. They come and go, and usually can be rid of with a few days of antibiotic ointment and cleansing. I’ve been advised that this is possibly a staph infection, but I honestly have no idea. Does anyone happen to know what this rash-like thing is, and if it constitutes medical treatment? I appreciate any answers I recieve!
