I just had wisdom teeth surgery monday (two days ago). I still have swelling and I have fever in my cheeks and it hurts. Is there anything besides putting ice packs on my face that you can do to get the swelling down? Also, the stitches in my mouth are really scratching my cheeks. Does this mean that they are starting to come out? I know that they come out on their own but is this a sign that they are coming out?

I am having gynecamstia surgery next month and i am happy and nervous at the same time. I have lived 25 years of my life with “female breasts” as it is defined and I am finally getting the surgery to get rid of them. I dont know what to expect, both physically and emotionally after the surgery. If anyone has had this surgery could you please let me know what to expect. Thank you

I am a junior in college and recently had surgery to repair a separated shoulder. I have been planning on joining the Marine Corps by either PLC or OCC after college. I am aware I will need a waiver, and the shoulder is healing very well. First hand knowledge on the topic would be great!

I went for her annual checkup and my vet said she had luxating pattellas. She told me to let another doctor assess her and give me a quote on how much the surgery would cost. I haven’t done this yet. I wanted to research it and talk with some other pet parents that have been through the surgery. Is it costly? Is it very stressful on the dog? Is the recovery long?

I really want laser eye surgery and I have a few questions.
My eyes are really bad, one is -7 and the other is -9 and those are the numbers for my contact lenses. What’s the worst prescription you can have and still get laser eye surgery?
Also, I have floaters on my eyes, is it still possible to get the surgery with floaters on your eyes? (Floaters are little dots that you see in your normal vision for those who don’t know)
For those who live in Canada and have gotten it done, how much did you pay for your surgery?

I used to go to the tanning bed a lot and as a result have developed quite a few flat brown moles all over my stomach and back. My dermatologist said to remove them, it would cost $150 per mole and scarring may occur. I wonder if there is any other way to get rid of these without surgery. Possibly creams, freezing, or laser?
